Ok everyone it is time for my first post.
I should say thanks for finding me and whatever but really I don't care enough.
So, I really want to talk about politics today since the presidential elections are coming up later this year and that is all that is on TV, radio, and everyone else's mind. So if I remember correctly all persons holding an elected official position is supposed to be an accurate representation of the people collectively. Hmm. I have yet to see a single presidential candidate that has less than a million dollars in the bank. I don't know about you but I have never had even close to a million dollars in my bank account. Ever. So, how can these ass clowns be an accurate representation of the collective American people if they have never eaten at a Waffle House or stayed in a Motel 6 because they could not afford a Hampton? That statement will end up being another topic of contention one day. These politicians are all the same no matter what party they are from, they will promise the American people the world and then when they are elected their morals are hijacked by lobbyists and a free trip to Boca. Now if you will notice I am not blaming just a single president I do that on purpose. Obama had some good ideas when he was campaigning and then completely failed to deliver on them. This was not entirely his fault. Republicans have their heads so far up their ass sometimes that they cannot remember what sunlight looks like. When pushing for health care and some of the other programs he wanted to try, Obama was promised by republicans that they would veto any proposition put in front of them no matter what the content was. Yea guys thanks for watching out for the people rather than how your party wants you to vote. I realize that not all of Obama's ideas are completely formed before he decides to spit them out, but come on vetoing something before you even look at it? I am in no way saying the democrats are completely innocent bystanders either. G.W. Bush was a president that enjoyed a time of almost political freedom after 9/11 happened. He mentioned a new Bill or law and it became so, but as the time went on and the second term happened the dems started resisting everything Bush attempted to do. Political blackout, if you will. So, this brings me back to my point of the fact that the politicians do not work for the citizens of the U.S anymore.
I am supposed to insert something witty here. I think. Whatever.
"Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost." John Quincy Adams
